摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnosis support apparatus automatically detecting a "region wherein a papillary protrusion occurs on the surface (outermost surface) of an inner wall portion" or a "region wherein cells (epithelial cells) randomly multiply on the surface (outermost surface) of an inner wall portion", which is suspected of being a lesion part, and performing diagnosis support, when the region exists in the inner wall portion in a living organism having a flat surface such as the biliary tract or pancreatic duct. <P>SOLUTION: An arithmetic processor 90 of an OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) apparatus 1 detects a position of the surface of the inner wall portion of the biliary tract or pancreatic duct by three-dimensional structure data, and calculates a surface roughness from a surface shape thereof. A region wherein the surface roughness is rough is detected as the "region wherein the papillary protrusion occurs on the surface (outermost surface) of the inner wall portion" or the "region wherein the cells (epithelial cells) randomly multiply on the surface (outermost surface) of the inner wall portion". <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
