<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digit display capable of clearly and distinctly displaying alphabets, symbols, and numerals (including Arabic numerals and Chinese numerals). <P>SOLUTION: A digit display comprises: at least one display unit 1 comprising twenty-eight character segments 11 that are arranged in a manner including: a quadrilateral formed by eight of the twenty-eight character segments with two character segments on each of four sides of the quadrilateral; a cross formed by four of the twenty-eight character segments and dividing the quadrilateral into four quadrants; and four X-shaped arrangements each of which disposed in a respective one of the four quadrants and formed by respective four of the twenty-eight character segments. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
