PURPOSE: An image forming apparatus and a method for detecting a fullness level of a toner cassette are provided to control print cycle task according to a fullness quality signal of a controller. CONSTITUTION: A toner cassette is inserted within a developing station of an image forming apparatus(S302). The image forming apparatus searches for fullness of a processor(S304,S308). The image forming apparatus transmits a signal for indicating mass to the processor(S310). The image forming apparatus controls a print cycle task based on the signal(S312-S326).
