<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture a device by eliminating a strict control, in particular, of an initial condition and realize a continuous pulse oscillation. <P>SOLUTION: A minute pulse light generator comprises: a quantum dot group for energy supply 2; and a quantum dot group for delaying system 3. The quantum dot group for energy supply 2 includes a quantum dot A having an energy level 21 where an exciton is excited in accordance with continuously supplied input light, and a quantum dot B including an energy level 22 resonating with the first energy level 21 and generating output light that is an output in accordance with an energy discharging amount obtained by the exciton being shifted from the energy level 22 to an energy level 23 serving as a lower level. The quantum dot group for delaying system 3 outputs control light based on a part of the exciton from the energy level 21 in the quantum dot A being supplied via a delaying system 4.
