ULTRASONIC DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily comprehend a correspondence relationship between a reference image of another diagnostic apparatus and an ultrasonic image displayed on the same screen.

SOLUTION: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes an ultrasonic-image calculating unit 105 for composing the ultrasonic-image from reflection echo signals output from a probe 104; a volume image data storing unit 107 for storing volume image data imaged by the ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus 102 beforehand; a reference image calculation unit 111 for recomposing a reference image corresponding to a scan screen for the ultrasonic image from the stored volume image data; and a monitor 114 for displaying the ultrasonic image and the reference image. In this case, the monitor displays an image indicating a target 405 which is set in an arbitrary portion within the volume image data to the ultrasonic image 402.
