<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a connecting fixture, which can simplify a manufacturing process, has good workability, and, at the same time, can manufacture the connecting fixtures in a cost-effective manner. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the connecting fixture 16, a short cylindrical projection 11 formed on a first metal material 10 is fitted into a circular hole 13 provided in a second metal material 12, and an end 14 of the projection 11 is pressed to form a diameter-expanded part 15 to connect the first metal material 10 and the second metal material 12 to each other. A slanted diameter-expanded part 63 is formed on one side of the circular hole 13.
