<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for controlling a heater in a housing of the video surveillance camera by measuring the temperature in the housing of the video surveillance camera at first. <P>SOLUTION: When a first thermostat is operated, a heater element in the housing is stopped. When a second thermostat is stopped, the heater element is operated. When the second thermostat is operated and a heater timer is ON, the heater element is operated. When the second thermostat is operated and a manual request of the heater is received, the heater element is operated and the heater timer is turned to ON, and the heater element is stopped when the manual request of the heater is not received. When temperature becomes higher than a first and a second preset temperature for about 5 degrees, the first thermostat and the second thermostat are operated, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
