<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce damage on a prohibition section and a contact section, which prohibit the rotation of a rotary body to a support. <P>SOLUTION: In a door mirror device 10 for a vehicle, the rotation of a body part 30 is prohibited by bringing a first prohibition surface 20A of a prohibition projection 20 of a stay 12 into surface-contact with a first contact surface 28A of a contact projection 28 of a drive body 24 when the body part 30 is arranged in a housing position. In such a case, the first prohibition surface 20A and the first contact surface 28A are inclined with respect to the rotating radial direction of the body part 30. The contact area between the first prohibition surface 20A and the first contact surface 28A is increased, the stress acting on the first prohibition surface 20A and the first contact surface 28A is decreased, thereby reducing the damage on the prohibition projection 20 (the first prohibition surface 20A) and the contact projection 28 (the first contact surface 28A). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
