<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autofocus device allowing for photographing images while keeping a given blur amount. <P>SOLUTION: Provided are first focal point changing means for changing a state in which image formation at a focal point is achieved, focus state detecting means for detecting a focus state for performing autofocus, blur amount changing means for setting a blur amount, first calculation means for calculating a focal depth, second calculating means for calculating a blur imaging position from the blur amount, the focal depth and the focus state, and third calculating means for calculating a position of the first focal point changing means from a position where image formation at a focal point is achieved.
