<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a search for a grouped facilities area according to the type (genre) of facilities designated as a condition of facilities search and setting of a representative geographical point in the grouped facilities area searched for as the destination. <P>SOLUTION: A route searching device 10 comprises map memory means 150 that stores map information; input means 120 for selecting the type of facilities; route searching means 140 that searches for a route to a destination with reference to the map memory means; and facilities searching means 180. The facilities searching means 180 searches for, with the map memory means 150, a grouped facilities area congested with facilities of the same type as the type of facilities selected with the input means 120, and the route searching means 140 searches for a route to a representative geographical point as the destination in the grouped facilities area searched for by the facilities searching means 180. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
