A mobile terminal, a method for providing driver files, and a system thereof are provided to efficiently use a memory without previously storing unnecessary driver files and to enable a driver file service provider to create an additional profit by providing driver files to users. A mobile terminal is comprised of a memory(120) and a control part(130). The memory(120) stores the driver files of peripheral units, installed in the main unit(100) of the mobile terminal, and a radio communication application. If a peripheral unit(140) is installed in the main unit(100), the control part(130) checks whether the driver file of the peripheral unit(140) exists in the memory(120). In case that the driver file doesn't exist in the main unit(100), the control part makes a request for the transmission of the driver file to a driver file service server through the radio communication application. |
