PURPOSE: An automatic scanner for ultrasonic inspection is provided to extend adaptability of automatic ultrasonic inspection by minimizing interference with peripheral structures of an automatic scanner during inspection. CONSTITUTION: An automatic scanner for ultrasonic inspection includes a Y-axis arm(302), a X-axis wheel, a driving motor(310), a connection shaft assembly, a X-axis encoder(309), and a solenoid(311). The Y-axis arm is stretched from inside of a main body(301) of a scanner toward the outside. The X-axis wheel is arranged under the main body and movably supports the main body. The driving motor is arranged inside the main body. The connection shaft assembly is connected to the driving motor inside the main body. The solenoid covers a magnet of the connection shaft assembly. When power is supplied to a solenoid valve, the connection shaft assembly is moved toward the axis direction to deliver driving force to the Y-axis arm and the X-axis wheel selectively.
