<p>The armature assembly (10) comprises an armature bar (12) made of fiber reinforced plastic, particularly a glass fiber reinforced plastic, which extends along an armature axis (X) and a connecting portion (14,16) with a smooth, conical or circular cylinder like surface segment in the area of an axial bar end. A functional piece (18,20) is provided, which extends along the armature axis and is fixed to the connection portion by a threaded connection.
