<p>The method for preparing an insert part (1) for generating a cavity in a cast component, where the insert part comprises a salt core (8) and a metallic first mold element (3) that is partially surrounding the salt core, comprises forming a salt layer using the metallic mold element and the salt core, where the salt layer is arranged over or adjacent to each other, subjecting the metallic mold element to a forming force, by which the metallic mold element shapes a profile forming plastic, and deforming and/or compressing the salt layer by the plastic deformation of the mold element. The method for preparing an insert part (1) for generating a cavity in a cast component, where the insert part comprises a salt core (8) and a metallic first mold element (3) that is partially surrounding the salt core, comprises forming a salt layer using the metallic mold element and the salt core, where the salt layer is arranged over or adjacent to each other, subjecting the metallic mold element to a forming force, by which the metallic mold element shapes a profile forming plastic, and deforming and/or compressing the salt layer by the plastic deformation of the mold element to form the cavity in cast component. The shaping force is generated for the deformation of the mold element by a relative movement between a shaping tool and the mold element. The deformation tool acts on the mold element from a side facing away from the salt layer. A second mold element (4) is arranged on a side facing away from the first mold element of the salt layer before application of the molding element so that the salt layer is partially arranged between the two mold elements. The first mold element is formed by the action of the forming force such that it is partially applied on the second mold element. A pressure pad is arranged on a side turned away from the first mold element of the salt layer, and supports the salt layer and/or the second mold element during the impingement of the first mold element with the forming force. The second mold element is plastically deformed by the forming force during the deformation of the first mold element. The salt layer, before assembly, is compressed adjacent to or between the mold elements and displaced with a binder.</p> |
