PURPOSE: A light emitting device is provided to prevent an interface between a bonding layer and a light emitting structure from being stripped by forming a protective layer around a circumferential area on the bonding layer. CONSTITUTION: A second electrode layer(105) supplies a first power source to a light emitting structure(140). A second electrode layer comprises a support substrate(110), a bonding layer(113), a reflecting layer(115), and an ohmic contact layer(120). The light emitting structure comprises a first conductive semiconductor layer(143), an active layer(142), and a second conductive semiconductor layer(141). A current blocking layer(130) is arranged between the ohmic contact layer and the light emitting structure. A protective layer(125) is formed around a circumferential area on the bonding layer. |
