The roller dynamometer (1) has two serially arranged roller dynamometers (2,3) for testing the operation of motor vehicles (4). A motor vehicle-bonded transceiver/receiver (7) is connected with computer device (6) over sensor/data communication equipment (5). The motion vector of motor vehicle is determined by the computer device such that the actual position of the motor vehicle with respect to target position is calculated so as to transmit brake and steering signals such that vehicle is driven from actual position to desired position.
