The element has an insert part insertable into a holding part (4). The holding part and the insert part are provided for arrangement at a side of a chair (1). The insert part includes a wedge-like form. A pocket (5) provided for receiving the insert part is formed in the holding part. An aperture (7) on a receiving side of the pocket is broader than the insert part at an insert side. The insert part includes a truncation at the insert side. A guide part is connected with the insert part and provided for contact at an outer side (12) of the pocket.
