<p>The cup (10) has lower and upper shoulders (24, 26) provided in lower and upper half parts of an inner cup (12), and an outer shell (34) lying in a region of the upper shoulder on the inner cup. The outer shell extends up to a lower edge of a base cross rail (20) and lies in the region of the lower edge the base cross rail. Outer diameter of the outer shell at the lower edge of the base cross rail is smaller than inner diameter of the inner cup directly above the lower shoulder and larger than inner diameter of the inner cup directly below the lower shoulder. The insulated cup is made up of paper material such as paper or paperboard. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a double-wall insulated cup.</p> |
