PURPOSE: A customized monitoring apparatus and a method thereof are provided to remotely monitor desired monitoring data of a camera among a plurality of monitoring cameras. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of cameras(10) is arranged on a monitoring region. A monitoring terminal(20) outputs a monitoring image. A monitoring server(30) registers a monitoring device such as the camera and records data from the camera installed on the monitoring region and information corresponding to the monitoring device. The monitoring server transmits the data corresponding to the monitoring device to the corresponding monitoring terminal when a data transmission process is requested by the registered monitoring terminal or when self-established monitoring data transmission time is reached.
