PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing porous copper foil is provided to reduce the roughness difference between both sides of copper foil. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing porous copper foil comprises the steps of: providing a chrome-containing compound on the metal surface of a cathode to form an oxide film using a metal roller(21), sponge covering the metal roller and a guide apparatus, forming copper foil on the oxide film through electrolysis of copper, and removing the copper foil from the metal surface of the cathode.
