<p>Flame hydrolytically-produced silicon-titanium mixed oxide powders consisting of aggregates of primary particles are such that - (A) the primary particles are predominantly of Si-Ti mixed oxide; and - (B) the powder has a BET surface area 20-200 m2/g, a TiO2 fraction of 10-70 wt.% and a rutile/anatase X-ray diffraction diagram of rutile/anatase ratio 2 : 98-2 : 98. - Flame hydrolytically-produced silicon-titanium mixed oxide powders consisting of aggregates of primary particles are such that: - (A) the primary particles are of amorphous silicon dioxide, crystalline titanium dioxide or silicon-titanium mixed oxide with an amorphous SiO2 and crystalline TiO2 fraction so that Si-Ti mixed oxide primary particles predominate; and - (B) the powder has a BET surface area 20-200 m2/g, a TiO2 fraction of 10-70 wt.% and a rutile/anatase X-ray diffraction diagram of rutile/anatase ratio 2 : 98-2 : 98. - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparation of the powders.</p> |
