<p>A tilting table device includes a first rotary member which is rotated by a rotation amount equivalent to that of a tilt shaft when rotation of the tilt shaft is transmitted; a second rotary member which has an axis parallel to that of the first rotary member and is rotated by a rotation amount equivalent to or substantially equivalent to that of the first rotary member in a direction opposite to that of the first rotary member when the rotation of the first rotary member is transmitted; two retaining members respectively provided at the first and second rotary members, in which when the center of gravity of a table is located at an uppermost position or a lowermost position, the retaining members are located on or near a line connecting rotation centers of the first and second rotary members, the retaining members are located at equivalent or substantially equivalent distances respectively from the rotation centers, both the retaining members are provided inside or outside the two rotation centers; and an urging device which causes a constant urging force to be applied between the two retaining members so as to reduce a torque applied to the tilt shaft by movement of the center of gravity from the uppermost position or the lowermost position as a result of the rotation of the tilt shaft.</p> |
