A detergent box of a drum-type washing machine is provided to easily feed a detergent and a softener into a detergent containing unit by installing the detergent box to be projected upwards out of a top plate. A detergent box of a drum-type washing machine comprises: a cabinet forming an outward appearance, formed with a support bracket(12) projected at one side of an inside wall surface and a connection groove (13) installed at the upper side of the support bracket; a top plate installed at the upper unit of the cabinet and formed with an opening unit on an upper surface; a housing body(50) one end of which is elastically installed at the upper unit of the support unit by a first spring(59), the other end of which is hinged at a support projection unit(27) of a control panel(27), and wherein a detergent case housing space(51) is formed inside and a rail(57) having a rail groove(57A) is installed at both sides; a lid(60) covering the upper side of the housing body, wherein plural rollers(62) moving along the rail groove are installed at the lower unit; a detergent case(70) contained in the detergent case housing space, and formed with a detergent containing unit(72) upper surface of which opens to allow a detergent and a softener to be fed; and an opening device(80) opening and closing the lid at the housing body.
