PURPOSE: A semiconductor device which includes a fuse and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to fundamentally prevent damage of an adjacent fuse using laser reflection in a repair process, thereby improving repair yield. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor device is comprised of the following components. A top line width of a fuse(22) is greater than a bottom line width. The fuse has a negative slope. A protective film covers the fuse. The protective film is formed on a fuse box in order to partially expose the fuse.
