<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a lithium secondary battery which is superior in a battery capacity and a high rate characteristic even if shearing is added to a positive electrode mixture coating. <P>SOLUTION: This is a manufacturing method of the positive electrode 1a for the lithium secondary battery which is provided with a coating preparation process of preparing the positive electrode mixture coating containing at least an active material 1c which is a Li containing complex oxide, a conductive assistant 1d, a binder 1e, and a solvent, an application process of applying the positive electrode mixture coating on a current collector 1b, a drying process in order to remove that solvent, and a rolling process, and in the coating preparation process and the application process, ratios of a volume of the active material 1c, the volume of the conductive assistant 1d, and the volume of the solvent in the coating are held so as to become 0.05≤(volume of active material 1c+volume of conductive assistant 1d)/volume of the solvent≤1.00, and the positive electrode 1a for the lithium secondary battery is manufactured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
