摘要 PURPOSE: A steering compensating method of an electric power steering device is provided to increase steering stability and reduce the sense of steering difference through adjusting driver torque through considering the speed of a vehicle and the steering angle of a steering wheel. CONSTITUTION: A steering compensating method of an electric power steering device is composed as follows. The steering angle of a steering wheel and automobile speed is input(S51). A base driver torque according to the automobile speed is determined in case of a driver changes the steering angle(S52). A primary standard angle and a secondary standard angle are compared with the steering angle(S53). In case of the steering angle is smaller than the primary standard angle(S54), a driver torque is set to be changed to a first angle(S55). In case of the steering angle is larger than the primary standard angle and smaller than the secondary standard angle(S56), a driver torque is set to be changed to a second angle(S57). In case of the steering angle is larger than the secondary standard angle, a driver torque is set to be changed to a third angle(S58).
