The evacuation light is designed such that a hand rail or a supporting rod is provided at a railway carriage door on an interior of a railway carriage with green illumination unit. The green illumination unit extends along the hand rail or the supporting rod and is integrated in the hand rail that is guided in an externally downward manner. A pipe of the hand rail or the supporting rod is provided with a longitudinal slot. The illumination unit is provided by a series of LEDs or LED strips, which are electrically connected with one another. A plastic tube of green color is used. |
