PURPOSE: An anticancer agent composition containing hydrolysates of Mytilus coruscus is provided to ensure excellent anticancer activity without toxicity and side effect. CONSTITUTION: An anticancer agent contains peptides isolated from hydrolysates of Mytilus coruscus as an active ingredient. A method for preparing the hydrolysate comprises: a step of dissolving freeze-dried Mytilus coruscus in buffer; a step of adding protease; a step of heating the hydrolysate in hot water; and a step of filtering, concentrating, and drying the hydrolysate. The protease includes flavourzyme, neutrase, papain, pepsin, trypsin, alpha-chymotrypsin, alcalase, or protamex. |
