PURPOSE: A cutter for machining curved surfaces on edges of furniture and partitions and a method using the same are provided to conveniently finish the exterior of a bent part of a panel to be rounded by a sheet by bending the panel at 90°. CONSTITUTION: A cutter(10) includes an oblique cutter unit(12), a bottom cutter unit(14), and a recessed unit(16). The oblique cutter unit is inclined inward at the angle of 45° along a peripheral surface. The bottom cutter unit is widened outward in the end of the oblique cutter unit again. A space of the bottom cutter unit is formed under a joining plane of the oblique cutter unit. The recessed unit is formed between the oblique cutter unit and the bottom cutter unit. A projected part of the recessed part is formed between the space and the joining plane of a bent groove.
