A COMPOSITION FOR TREATING OR PREVENTING OSTEOPOROSIS COMPRISING IBANDRONIC ACID AND A METHOD OF PREPARING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A composition containing ibandronic acid for preventing and treating osteoporosis is provided to avoid direct contact with active ingredient and to improve formulation stability. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing or treating osteoporosis comprises an inner phase containing 100-300mg of ibandronic acid, pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, or hydrate thereof, and excipient, binder, disintegrant, or lubricant and an external phase containing lubricant or disintegrant. The composition also contains macrogol as a coating agent. A method for manufacturing the composition comprises a step of preparing the inner phase and a step of adding the lubricant or disintegrant.
