APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PLAYBACK OF MULTIMEDIA DATA IN NAVIGATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A device for reproducing multimedia data in a navigation system and a method thereof are provided to analyze only the genre of a part corresponding to a fast reproduction speed of multimedia data. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(100) finds a current location of a user by a satellite signal of a satellite signal receiving module. The control unit searches a moving route between the current location and a destination from map data of a memory unit(110). The control unit classifies the genre of multimedia data. The control unit reproduces only a genre which has the same feature by a data reproducing unit(102).
