A machine for making flat pastry with toppings (94, 96), especially pizzas (90), with several topping feeders (8, 9, 59, 62, 63) and a positioning device (30) with a rotating dough carrier (39, 40) below the topping feeders, operated by a drive unit so as to move the carrier under the required topping feeder, in which the feeders are mounted in a matrix array (6, 7) along two axes at right angles (x, y) and the positioner (30) moves in two directions at right angles corresponding to the array. Independent claims are included for (1) a method for the production of pizzas with this machine, by placing dough n the dough carrier (39) and positioning the carrier sequentially under the topping feeders, so that a topping is only delivered when the carrier has been correctly positioned by a specified method under the feeders (2) pizzas with various toppings and slices of salami made by this method, in which 3 salami slices are arranged on the dough in two or more point-symmetric arrays with 3-fold symmetry and constant angular spacing on two or more concentric circles (3) similar pizzas with 4 salami slices in two or more arrays with 4-fold symmetry (4) similar pizzas with 9 salami slices in two arrays of 3 slices each (3-fold symmetry) at 45[deg] to one another on a first circle and a further array of 3 slices (3-fold symmetry) on another concentric circle with a different radius. |
