The turbine has a support structure with a set of legs (131), at whose ends a base (140) that contacts with an ocean bed (100) is arranged. A height of a rotor hub is preset over an oceanic surface. The base has an extension in a longitudinal direction, where the extension adjusts a distance between an end of an associated leg and an assigned contact point for the base at the ocean bed. The distance is determined by a depth and/or a relief of the ocean bed. An independent claim is also included for a method for installing a wind turbine for off-shore application. |
