PURPOSE: A signal transmitting/receiving method and an apparatus thereof in a wireless communication system are provided to determine a transmission mode of a base station or a relay station through user experience quality information and channel information. CONSTITUTION: A terminal device determines a transmission mode of a BS(Base Station) or an RS(Relay Station)(618). The terminal device transmits determined transmission mode information to the BS or the RS(620). The terminal device applies a transmission mode by the transmission mode information. The terminal devices receives a signal which is transmitted through one or more antennas by the BS or the RS(624).
