SECONDARY BATTERY INCLUDING FUSE-INSERTED ELECTRODE LEAD

PURPOSE: A pouch type secondary battery equipped with fuse installation position is provided to prevent from separately blocking of excessive current by disconnecting electrode lead in a case of excessive current occurrence. CONSTITUTION: A pouch type secondary battery equipped with fuse installation position comprises a fuse connection part(32) which connects at least 2 of lead pieces(30) and adjacent lead pieces(31), a cell assembly in which the electrode lead is electrically connected, and a pouch case which seals the cell assembly so that the fuse connection part can be exposed to outside. The fuse connection part is combined with end of the lead piece by welding. The welding is either laser welding or ultrasonic welding. The width of the fuse connection part is smaller than the width of the lead piece.
