PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a method for controlling broadcasting content display thereof are provided to control at least one field value of a plurality of field values which consist of a reference rating value to control the watching of broadcasting content. CONSTITUTION: When a content rating value satisfies a reference rating value, a control unit(180) displays the broadcasting content received by the control of a display unit(151). The control unit controls at least one field value of a plurality of field values which consist of the reference rating value to make the content rating dissatisfy the reference rating value according to a watching limit command signal.
