PURPOSE: A holder for an arc welding rod is provided to quickly connect a cable to a holder body by employing a one-touch fastener. CONSTITUTION: A holder for an arc welding rod comprises a holder body(10), a clamper, an insulating handle(30), a cable(40), and a spring(45). The holder body has a cable guide hole(13) extended from the rear end to the top to guide the cable to the top of the holder body separated from the insulating handle. A fastener(50) is formed on the holder body and connected to the leading end of the holder body in order to fix the cable guided from the top to the rear end of the holder body.
