CYLINDER HEAD GASKET HAVING THE STRUCTURE OF DOUBLE STOPPER

PURPOSE: A cylinder head gasket having a double stopper structure is provided to reduce bore deformations and improve sealing functions with applying a grommet stopper structure to an inner side of a combustion chamber and applying a core stopper structure to the rest of sections so that surface pressures are increased. CONSTITUTION: A cylinder head gasket having a double stopper structure comprises a top bead plate, a lower bead plate, a grommet plate(30) and a core stopper plate(40). The top bead plate is formed into a dented shape bead along an edge of a bore side. The lower bead plate has a same shape which is symmetrical with the top bead plate. The lower bead plate positions a protruded shape bead facing with the dented bead. The protruded shape bead is formed along an edge of the bore side. The grommet plate of a flat board is placed between the top bead plate and the lower bead plate. The grommet plate of the flat board forms collapsible portions(31) whose side end is folded with a constant width along the edge of the bore side. The core stopper plate is in gear with the grommet plate between full-beads of the upper and lower bead plate. The core stopper plate is placed in a folding direction of the grommet plate.
