PURPOSE: A light emitting device is provided to increase reliability and color rendition of a light emitting structure by filling a cavity of the upper side of the light emitting structure with encapsulating material. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting structure(150) is formed on the first supporting member(110). The light emitting structure comprises a first semiconductor layer(152), a second semiconductor layer(154), and an active layer(156). A first electrode(120) is formed between the first supporting member and the first semiconductor layer of the light emitting structure. A second electrode(190) is formed on the second semiconductor layer of the light emitting structure. A second supporting member(170) is formed on the semiconductor structure. A wiring is connected to the second semiconductor layer and the first semiconductor layer. |
