Accounting apparatus comprises a working table having a pair of guides arranged one along each of its lateral edges, a plate slidable on the guides, a bar extending from top to bottom of the table and movable from side to side and a frame separately movable up and down the working surface. Fig. 1 illustrates the basic arrangement in which a flat working surface 1 is provided with lateral guides 2, 3 for a slidable plate 4; a bar 7 is movable from side to side and secures, for example, a day book sheet. The bar 7 is provided with a central rib (8), having interline guides and bearing surfaces (9) (10) which accommodate riders (11) holding entry slips (12), (13), (Figs. 3 and 4, not shown). A movable frame 14, Fig. 5, has a carbon paper base 14<SP>1</SP> and comprises an inclined surface 15 parallel to a bar 16 affixed by pins 17, 18 to surface 1; a ring 19 enables the frame 14 to slide and pivot on bar 16. A second slip is placed on frame 14 which may be secured at a desired position by means of keys and orifices in the frame 14, plate 4 and surface 1.</p> |
