PURPOSE: A tufting knife having a nominal bending point is provided to prevent excessive abrasion of the knife and griper and to prevent crack and damage of inserts. CONSTITUTION: A tufting knife(20) of a tufting machine comprises: a knife main body(24) of a strip form; a cutting blade(36) formed on one end(31) of the main body; and a bending connection part(27) provided in a predetermined distance from the cutting blade. The bending connection part is a spring loading hinge which provides an elastic section of the main body. The cutting blade connects two edges of longitudinal direction.
