PURPOSE: A method for controlling a DMB apparatus is provided to offer a DMB intro function while simultaneously offering a DMB and a TPEG(Transport Protocol Experts Group) function. CONSTITUTION: If time which is displayed on a display unit reaches to a preset time(S320), a buffering process and an output process to the display unit is repeatedly performed by turns about a first DMB chip and a second DMB chip(S305,S313,S330). It is determined whether a currently broadcast image information is the last channel or not is determined(S150). If the broadcast information is the final channel, the DMB in troll function is stopped.
