SPHERICAL ACTIVATED CARBON

摘要

PURPOSE: Spherical activated carbon and absorber for eliminating pollutants including the same are provided to increase the ratio of pores in the fine particles of the activated carbon to reduce the ratio of pores between the fine particles. CONSTITUTION: The average diameter of spherical activated carbon is between 0.38mm and 2mm. The specific surface area of the spherical activated carbon is 1,000m^/g or more based on a Brunauer-Emmett-Teller method. V_intra(%) of the spherical activated carbon is 50% or more and is represented by equation, V_intra(%)=V_d/V_total x 100. In the equation, V_total is the total pore volume before the pulverization of the spherical activated carbon; and V_d is the total pore volume of pulverized fine particles of 0.5um to 5um average diameter and is between 0.32cm^3/g and 0.39cm^3/g.
