PURPOSE: A gas station guiding method interlocked with an oil warning light and a system thereof are provided to multiply the convenience of a user by automatically searching gas stations around a current location according to engine information and road information of a vehicle when an oil warning light is on. CONSTITUTION: A gas station guiding method interlocked with an oil warning light is as follows. When an oil warning light is on, a navigation displays a guidance message for searching a gas station on the screen(S101). The navigation is request to search the gas station from a user(S104). The navigation searches gas stations around a current location according to engine information and road information of a vehicle(S105). The navigation indicates a searching result as a list and the user selects one from the list(S106). The navigation sets the selected gas station as a destination/passing set point, thereby guiding a route(S107,108).
