METHOD FOR DEBLOCKING FILTERING FOR INTRA PREDICTION

PURPOSE: A deblocking filtering method for intra prediction is provided to perform deblocking filtering in the optimal block boundary strength and deblocking filtering direction. CONSTITUTION: When a prediction mode of a fixed block in a macro block is identical to that of a neighboring block, a deblocking filter sets the BS(Boundary Strength) to 1(230). The deblocking filter performs deblocking filtering in the same direction as the direction of an intra prediction mode(250). When the prediction mode between the neighboring blocks is not same, the deblocking filter sets the BS(Boundary Strength) to 2. The deblocking filter performs deblocking filtering in the same direction as the direction of the existing deblocking filtering direction(240).
