PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a belt pulley for a large size electric fan is provided to reduce the time and costs for manufacturing a bent pulley and freely select a material to be used. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a belt pulley for a large size electric fan comprises the steps of: manufacturing a cylindrical housing, in which the rotary shaft of a fan is inserted, through turning(S100), manufacturing an arm with a fixed length by laser-cutting a rod or square rod(S200), laser-cutting the rod according to the circumference of the belt pulley and rolling the rod to form a ring-shaped bending part(S300), setting the housing and the bending part on a jig according to the belt pulley shape, arranging an arm to connect the housing and the bending part, and welding the contact surfaces between both ends of the arm, the housing, and the bending part(S400), and turning the bending part to form a mounting surface for hanging a belt(S500).
