PURPOSE: Pipe joint and pipe coated with a sound-insulating resin layer are provided to freely change thickness in proportion to noise decrease effect and enhance tensile strength and shock resistance. CONSTITUTION: A pipe(1) or a pipe joint comprises a sound-insulating resin layer(20), which has a noise decrease function. Composition consists of 30~60wt.% of PVC resin, 2~3wt.% of stabilizer, 20~35wt.% of plasticizer, 15~30wt.% of hard charcoal and 5~20wt.% of coated hard charcoal. The composition is deposited on the pipe or the pipe joint to form a sound-insulating resin layer.
