SYSTEM FOR MEASURING PERFORMANCE OF NETWORK EQUIPMENT BASED ON ETHERNET

PURPOSE: A system for measuring performance of an Ethernet-based network device is provided to measure network performance and BER performance of a WAN(Wide Area Network) section by processing data according to a performance evaluation index. CONSTITUTION: A reception switching device(130) receives a data packet which is transferred to a WAN section. The reception switching device processes the received data packet to the performance evaluation index. The reception switching device outputs the processed data packet to a second Ethernet port. A counting device(110) measures network performance or BER(Bit Error Rate) performance based on the data packet.
