PURPOSE: A door release for a fire door is provided to open and close a fire door by vertically moving an operation pin for operating the door release. CONSTITUTION: A door release for a fire door comprises a box-shaped main body(10), a drive motor(20), a controller(25), a pivoting piece(30), an operation holder(40), and a hook holder(50). A hook unit of a fire door is inserted into an insertion hole(10h) of the main body. The drive motor is powered by an electrical signal outside the main body. The controller rotates the drive motor. The pivoting piece is formed in a fan shape to receive the rotary shaft of the drive motor therein. The operation holder has a hinge shaft(41), an operation plate(43), and a torsion spring(40s). The hook holder has a hinge shaft(51), a hook plate(53), and a torsion spring(50s). |
