摘要 PURPOSE: A motor control system for an electric engine ship using wind power is provided to minimize fuel consumption used in sailing by guiding efficient energy consumption of a ship using electricity as power source. CONSTITUTION: A motor control system for an electric engine ship using wind power comprises an anemoscope/anemometer(110), a controller(120), a context aware control algorithm(130), a transmission(140), and an electric engine(150). The anemoscope/anemometer measures effects of wind blowing to a ship. The controller receives data from the anemoscope/anemometer to control relevant equipment. The context aware control algorithm receives the wind power data from the controller to control power of an engine and a transmission using context aware control algorithm. The transmission controls speed of the ship according to determination of the context aware control algorithm. The electric engine controls power of the engine according to the determination of the context aware control algorithm.
